Impact Mezzanine
As a hybrid form of financing, our mezzanine capital combines the advantages of equity and debt capital. Impact Debt
Our debt approach is focused on sustainability and offers companies the opportunity to raise capital without having to give up shares and without dilution. This form of debt financing is closely linked to the achievement of specific impact or sustainability targets, ensuring that every investment makes a real contribution to improving the world.
To ensure the sustainability and impact of our investments, we rely on an innovative credit scoring model developed in-house. We assess companies not only according to traditional, but also modern financial criteria and their ability to meet positive environmental and social standards. We also make use of macroeconomic developments, link these assumptions to the respective sectors/industries and business models and determine the quality of innovation. This holistic approach enables us to evaluate risks more precisely and at the same time make investments that really achieve a difference.
Innovative Impact Investing
The investment spectrum of 8 Impact is oriented across sectors in Germany and internationally towards emerging markets that plan an expansion to Germany, with a particular focus on innovative hardware companies in the industrial sector. However, software and non-industrial companies are also considered.
The companies must be impact-oriented or sustainable.
Excluded sectors include biotechnology, defense, tobacco and the gambling industries.

Will I get an investment if I don't fulfill all the criteria?
At 8 Impact, we evaluate each case individually. Even if the company may not meet all the criteria straight away, there is still the possibility of cooperation. If the basics are in place but further development is required, we offer a Profitability Program. Through this program, we can jointly develop the company to prepare it for potential funding. Our priority is to support the company on its path to success.
