Timo Bey 貝天慕
Managing Partner | Director Private Markets & Asia
Timo is Managing Partner & Director Private Markets & Asia. He is actively involved in the analysis of potential target companies, investment and portfolio management as well as investor relations. He is also a lecturer in investment and finance at a private university and a long-time mentor to several startup accelerators. Prior to this position, he worked as VP Investment in an impact venture capital firm in Cologne and gained extensive experience as Head of Finance & Controlling and as an investment banker in M&A. Timo is also an entrepreneur with a background in finance & law. His diverse experience and expertise make him a valuable resource in the investment and startup ecosystem.
Stefanie Nix Bambarén
Partner | Director of Impact & ESG
Stefanie is an experienced investor and acts as Partner & Director of Impact, ESG at 8 Impact. Her role is multifaceted and includes analysis of potential target startups as well as active involvement in startup management, financial monitoring and impact reporting. Of particular note is her instrumental role in the development of 8 Impact’s internal impact measurement framework. Prior to her current position, Stefanie gained valuable experience at an impact-focused venture capital firm based in Cologne. In addition, she acquired skills in marketing & project management. Her diverse background and expertise make her a key figure in the field of impact-oriented investments and management.
Dina Lorentz
Associated Partner | Sustainability
Dina Lorentz is an expert in ESG and impact investing. With a background in business law and experience in sustainability regulation, she brings expertise from various industries and regions, particularly Latin America. Through her work for a Swiss impact investment fund in Lima, Peru, she has specialized in impact investing and is a member of the board of SA Oikocredit Northern Germany. Dina is actively involved in the promotion of sustainable financial solutions and is, among other things, on the expert committee of the Internationaler Wirtschaftsrat e.V. and treasurer of the Bundesinitiative Impact Investing e.V..
FAQ
Will I get an investment if I don't fulfill all the criteria?
At 8 Impact, we evaluate each case individually. Even if the company may not meet all the criteria straight away, there is still the possibility of cooperation. If the basics are in place but further development is required, we offer a Profitability Program. Through this program, we can jointly develop the company to prepare it for potential funding. Our priority is to support the company on its path to success.
